On Thursday a parade of Mitzvah Tanks took place, from the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn to Manhattan.
The 59 Tanks, corresponding to the number of years of the Lubavitcher Rebbe's Nesius, were set off on the annual Mitzvah Tank Parade commemorating the Rebbe's 107th birthday which takes place on Sunday, Yud Aleph Nissan. Participants of the "Mitzvah Tank" Parade did Mivtzoim on Manhattan's streets today, distributing Pesach materials and information, and helping passerby put on tefillin.
