Video shown at Camp Kochavim, Depicting the transformation of a young boy given over to a monastery in the Holocaust.
Produced by Simcha Leiner (Finest Cut Studios) written by Simcha Leiner and Eli Shapiro.
The only problem i have with this production, Number one: the video only describes the first part of the song, which is the sad part. where's the happy and inspirational ending? Two: i have a hard time understanding how hey couldn't find an alternative idea for removing their Yarmulkas. How about a cap? Jews in prewar Poland/Europe wouldn't remove their head coverings for even a moment.
Warning! The first two minutes of the video contains footage from the Holocaust and may contain graphical images. Viewers discretion is advised.

all the crosses are OK with you?
Definitely not as much as the Gilu Rosh. Although the scene with the boy in front of the cross is also a bit disturbing.
the following is from the author of the video.
"The reason the video only depicts the first part of the song is because it was in conjunction with a live production which had all of that taking place on a stage".
"We really regretted shooting those first scenes without Yarmulkes, and as you can see the later shots have them".
The crosses were much farther than they appear. We followed closely with our Rabbanim, who told as long as we were more than 4 amos from the structure it was fine. This video was intended to emotionally prepare a large group of children for Tisha B'av. Hope you enjoyed! Simcha Leiner
camp achim also made a video of this song. check it out.
