Rachel - Zanvil & Moshe David Weismandel, Malchus

At the “Rischa Da’Orayta” event held in Beit Shemesh, presided over by HaRav Dov Landau, shlita, after hours of joy and “ritcha” attended by the city’s rabbis and its finest citizens, the musicians broke into song and singing, beautifully and befittingly honoring the Torah.

At the climax of the singing segment, the city’s leading singers, Zanvil Weinberger and Moshe David Weismandel, together with members of the “Malchus” choir, presented a medley entirely dedicated to “Rachel Our Mother,” with lyrics by Pinchas Bichler and arranged by Benny Laufer. It is now presented to you in anticipation of the yahrzeit of Rachel Imenu, of blessed memory.
