We are honored to share a brand-new cover of “B’ein Meilitz Yosher,” a timeless tefillah (prayer) first recorded in the 1970s by the legendary London School of Jewish Song. For generations, this haunting melody has captured the spirit of the Yamim Noraim (High Holidays) a heartfelt cry for mercy and a prayer to be judged favorably.
This special release is dedicated to the memory of Yigal Yisroel Calek A”H, whose vision and artistry elevated this piece into one of the most beloved melodies of the season. On the occasion of his upcoming first yahrtzeit, we honor his incredible legacy with this heartfelt rendition.
Performed by Chazan Shalom Jacobs, cantor at Chabad of the Shore, together with Yisroel Zev Gifter, this moving arrangement by Yossi Schwartz is filled with soul and emotion. Filmed and produced by Gavi Starke at the stunning Eastside Sound studio, the visuals and music come together to inspire reflection and uplift as we begin the journey into the High Holidays.
