Chazal tell us that דְּבָרִים הַיּוֹצְאִים מִן הַלֵּב נִכְנָסִים אֶל הַלֵּב – words that come from the heart, find their way to the heart of the listener.
I can’t guarantee that I’m a yarei Shamayim and I can’t guarantee that I’m going to heaven after 120. The one thing that I can guarantee is that these niggunim are definitely יּוֹצְאִים מִן הַלֵּב – directly from my heart. They came from special moments of inspiration, from divrei Torah that I heard and from moments of deep hisboidedus.
And so I daven, that by connecting to the story behind the niggun, and by listening for the meaning and the message contained within each song, then the niggunim of my heart will find their way into the hearts of gantz Klal Yisroel.
Thank you for the incredible response and awesome feedback that you have given me over these past few years. The countless letters and emails that I’ve received expressing the chizuk that you’ve gotten from my music has been unbelievable. I pray that my music continues to do so, because that’s the whole avoida!
We should be zoicheh, together as a Klal, to inspire each other to keep thanking Hashem. And whether all you know is Thank You Hashem, or Mi Ke’amcha, or you know some of the other ones too,
let’s join together in song and bring Moshiach once and for all!
"I took my son fishing at my grandmother's pond in the summertime. He recently got an remote control boat as a gift and wanted to take it over to the pond to try it out. He got the idea to try to tie fishing line to the end of the RC boat and 'troll' with it. He tied on a piece of line about 6 ft. long with a small lure worm and started to troll. He caught 3 bass this day using his RC boat."
"Our girl loves strawberries. After struggling to find some during the first few days of our holiday, we finally sourced some and surprised her at breakfast, and we got a much bigger reaction than we had imagined we would!"

For a year now, chassidic music artist Raphael Melloul has been slowly approaching his debut album. From single to single, the range of possibilities that are almost impossible for him is revealed. This time, he presents a completely chasidic hit “Shalom.” The words of the Mishnah in mesechtas Uktzin who describes the virtue of Shalom in Israel:”אָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן בֶּן חֲלַפְתָּא, לֹא מָצָא הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא כְּלִי מַחֲזִיק בְּרָכָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אֶלָּא הַשָּׁלוֹם, שֶׁנֶּאמר ה’ עֹז לְעַמּוֹ יִתֵּן ה’ יְבָרֵךְ אֶת עַמּוֹ בַשָּׁלוֹם (תהילים כט)”.
In this charged period, the words like the melody fall on very attentive ears. The lyrics and melody were written by Elchanan Elchadad, and the bouncy arrangement belongs to Shmuel Cohen. “Shalom” is already the third single, last summer Rafael released his first single, and since then he has been releasing more and more hits. His songs on are constantly being added to radio hit playlists and played on repeat.
“When Elchanan Elchadad sent me the song, I really liked the strong message, I immediately connected to the strong and happy rhythmic melody, and I felt that the song ‘Shalom‘ sits well on me,” says Rafael. Already in the first demo, everyone who was in the studio realized that it was Raphael’s summer song, “I feel like I bring in this song the authentic follower of yesteryear…”.
“I make sure that all my songs have a positive and strengthening message,” says Raphael.
As mentioned, with such a lively melody and arrangement, it will be difficult to get through the summer without humming it over and over again…
