Join the Erev Yom Tov Momentum in Yerushalayim
As Pesach draws closer the tempo on the streets of Yerushalayim is picking up as people once again enjoy the sounds and smells of the upcoming Z'man Cheiruseinu.
Nevertheless, through all the excitement among the crowds there are those downcast individuals. Yes rampant poverty still exists even in working families and the Kimche D'Pischa - Oneg Shabbos V'Yom Tov/Rechnitz Family Mammoth Pesach Campaign is literally a life-saver.
On a particularly warm day for the time of year, literally thousands of appreciative people headed to Malcha just south of Yerushalayim's city center, picking up boxes and boxes of provisions from Oneg Shabbos V'Yom Tov/Rechnitz Family Distribution to alleviate the burden of making Pesach.
The Pre-Pesach Market 5781 is fully stocked for more than 15,000 food packages consisting of a colossal 300,000 pounds of meat and chicken, several ton of Matzos, thousands of bottles of wine and grape juice from Italy for Kiddush and Arba Kosos, close to 3 million eggs and seven hundred thousand kilo of top quality fruits and vegetables, and much much more.
Families arrive at the market where there is an upbeat atmosphere and the handpicked top-quality Pesach provisions and produce, matzos, wines, a variety of canned goods, other non-perishables and meat, fish and chicken stored in special over-sized freezers, is loaded into their vehicles, in an efficient manner by smiling volunteers who offer service with a smile.
Thanks to Oneg Shabbos V'Yom Tov/Rechnitz Family 5881 Campaign, from today till yom tov, those sad eyes among the passersby will now be replaced by the content look of menuchas hanefesh as our less fortunate Acheinu Bnei Yisroel in Eretz Yisroel look forward to sitting down to the Seder with dignity.
As you sit down to the Seder with your families you will have the zechus of having fulfilled Kol Dichfin as you envision the family that you have sponsored having oneg Yom Tov in Eretz Yisroel and may we all be zoche to L’Shana Habaah B’Yerushalayim.

Exactly a year ago the world stopped when Corona started getting really bad. It prevented hundreds or thousands of Bar Mitzvah boys from having the special parties that they deserved. We would like to thank the hundreds & hundreds of boys & their families who have sent in pictures & videos to be included in this historic project. Although every Bar Mitzvah boy is special, unfortunately, due to the overwhelming response we were unable to include all of the submissions. Hamalach Ha’Goel is a new composition by Yitzy Waldner, and performed by Yaakov Shwekey, together with tens of Bar Mitzvah boys from around the world who sent clips of their special Bar Mitzvah celebrations. Ravid Kashti arranged and produced the track, which was accompanied by the MusicKids choir.

Tonight, Klal Yisrael will be celebrating the completion of the fourth masechta in the cycle - Maseches Pesachim. What more appropriate siyum to hold this week than on Maseches Pesachim while we are preparing for Pesach. As HaRav Hagaon Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky shlit”a called it: “This is a special Siyum - It’s a Siyum Min Hashamayim!”
Tonight, The Afikomen will feature a brand new documentary on the Novominsker Rebbe zt”l, in honor of his first yahrtzeit, highlighting his life and exploring his leadership with fascinating stories and messages that all of us will learn and be inspired from. You won’t want to miss an amazing musical celebration from the Masmidei Hasiyum Choir featuring members of the Shir V’shevach Boys Choir, conducted by Chaim Meir Fligman. Also on the program will be Ki Yishalcha- a brand new Question and Answer session with Harav Hagaon Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky shlit”a, moderated by Rav Doniel Osher Kleinman shlit”a and have your most difficult Pesach questions answered by the Gadol HaDor! Eli Levin - Afikomen - Music Video
New song "Afikomen" from Eli Levin and Motty Ilowitz to inspire us all to suggest Shidduchim!
Three years ago, Yisroel Levin and his Kallah, Elisheva Kaplan, were killed in a horrible car accident on Chol Hamoed Pesach. This tragedy shook Klal Yisroel, and it inspired the creation of 10K Batay Yisroel - a project meant to inspire each one of us to suggest Shidduchim. Since then we have seen a Shidduch nearly every week attributed to this special movement.
Tonight, Eli Levin has released a brand new song meant to bring awareness to 10K Batay Yisroel. The song describes the story of that devastating tragedy, and describes the selfless request his father asked of Hashem at the Levayah of Yisroel and Elisheva: 10,000 Shidduchim for Klal Yisroel.

Each year on Pesach, we read about the four sons, the wise son, the wicked son, the simple son, and the one who does not know how to ask.
In our generation where confusion and anarchy reign, the narrative and understanding of who these four sons are, has become more complex. Is the wise son as confident as he seems? Is the wicked son truly a bad seed? Is the simple son simply dull? And what kind of child does not have any questions that they are willing to ask?
In our generation, we have witnessed the unfortunate phenomenon of children leaving Judaism and ending up on the streets. All too often this is a result of their parents not understanding each child’s unique personalities as well as the challenges of our technology-obsessed generation.
Rabbi Benzion Klatzko composed this song to remind well-meaning parents that our children’s struggles are unique to them and need a loving and caring hand and heart in order to feel loved and thrive in life and yiddishkeit.
May it be Hashem’s will that we merit to see our children become the best that they can be! As we say in the bracha on Shabbos, may they grow up to be like Ephraim and Menashe! Amen
