National Anthem by Aryeh Hurwitz at NBA Game

Chazan Aryeh Hurwitz performing the Star Spangled Banner as the NBA's Miami Heat take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Chanukah. Celebrating our Jewish Heritage with Chabad of Florida.

"One menorah was lit at the end of the first quarter with participation of the Chabad of Florida leaders, consul general of Israel in Miami Maor Elbaz-Starinsky and Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. Cantor Aryeh Leib Hurwitz, who performed the national anthem before the game, also sang during the lighting which generated thunderous applause by the crowd."

Hurwitz, who is cantor at Chabad of Central Boca Raton, said it was exhilarating to be able to perform at the arena.

“It’s an unbelievable opportunity to get to sing and celebrate Hanukkah in front of so many people,” he continued."
