VAYECHI! - The Baal Shem Tov's Spiritual Revolution
Tonight and tomorrow are known as "Chai Elul", the birthday of the Baal Shem Tov. Today, 322 years after this exalted soul descended to illuminate our world, his revolution is reaching a fever pitch.
A MOVEMENT FOR THE SOUL OF OUR TRADITION
In the year 1806, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov began his most famous tale with the words, "Along a journey, I told a story." This legendary tale, "The Lost Princess," tells of the long, tumultuous, and ultimately glorious journey of a viceroy who has devoted his life to locating a princess abducted from her father's palace and returning her home.
The princess represents the soulfulness, faith, passion, inwardness, joy, and wonder of youth that have become lost over time in the murkiness of the modern experience. The viceroy represents you and me, wandering souls on a mission to reclaim the passion of youth. We have set our eyes on a life that is filled with wonder, illumination, and excitement. We long for an avodas Hashem that is bursting with a tangible feeling of closeness with our Creator. Indeed, we are all searching for the princess, the soul of life, each in our own way.
Founded upon twenty-five core principles upon extracted from from “The Story of Our Lives”, R’ Yaakov Klein’s upcoming book on the “The Lost Princess”, the Lost Princess Initiative provides a compass for this essential search, using the life-changing teachings of our greatest tzaddikim to guide us toward our goal.

Teshuvah Tefillah - Sruly Green & Melech Frank
As the Yumim Noiruim approach us, it is only appropriate to mention what our Rebbes have taught us, that, Teshiva Tefila and Tzedaka can only be achieved thru true Simcha.
Therefore it is perfect timing for a colab between the two great singers Sruly Green and Melech Frank, two very close friends, who get together weekly, (almost daily:) with friends to Kumzits, sing and dance.
Sruly & Melech decided to take the Kumzitz energy and spice it up with an “Elul Simcha” and share it with the world.
Therefore the best way bringing this out, would be with a beautiful Yiddish oldie by Lipa Schmeltzer.
Together Sruly & Melech approached Lipa Schmeltzer who gave them his blessing and permission to cover his famous song “Uteshuva Utefila Utzedaka”, song #10 from his album “Letova”.

Watch Live: Bringing Jerusalem to the World!
At this time of the year, popular hassidic singer Avraham Fried is usually in Israel, singing to a full house in Jerusalem’s Sultan’s Pool. That won’t be happening this year. Like so many cultural events, whether high brow, low brow or flavored with religion, Fried’s pre-Rosh Hashanah concert will be presented online, and because he happens to be a Chabadnik, it will be hosted by Chabad of Rehavia under the title “Bringing Jerusalem to the World.” Fans of hassidic and cantorial music will have additional treats with performances by the Pirchei Yerushalayim choir, Aaron Razel, Duvie Shapiro, Gershon Wachtel, Motti Flikshtein and cantor Zvi Weiss.
There will be no charge, though Rabbi Yisroel Goldberg, the director of Chabad of Rehavia, will welcome donations that will be used for Rosh Hashana outreach and other activities. Chabad of Rehavia has been providing meals for the poor, plus various online services. The concert, which will be viewed across the world on Sunday, September 6, can be seen in Israel from 7 p.m., London at 5 p.m. and Eastern Australia at 2 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time for viewing is 12 p.m., and Pacific Daylight Time 9 a.m.

Cantor Yaakov Lemmer Sings A Chazendl
Composed by the late Leo Low, this classic humorously depicts the life of a struggling Chazzan (Cantor) and the auditions he needs to endure.
The song was refreshed in the 50’s by The Barry Sisters and here Yanky Lemmer and Avremi G further invigorate it with a current twist.
Arranged & Conducted by Avremi G
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Ian Freitor at Playground at PlayMasters Studios
