Tragedy and crisis plunge mourners into bewildering unknown terrains. An overwhelming plethora of details and gaps must be filled, demanding resources grieving next of kin often do not have. Chesed Shel Emes (CSE) tirelessly works to help mourners deal with the unknown and provide assistance with every facet, sensitively and efficiently.
CSE is based in Brooklyn, NY, but provides services in many states throughout the United States, working with medical examiners, coroners, local, state, and Federal law enforcement, hospitals and funeral homes, to provide respect and dignity for the deceased. CSE will provide free burial for the indigent.
When thrust into a crisis, people instinctively turn to CSE with a plea for help to guide them through the turmoil. CSE provides critically needed services when rapid response is essential.
