A toddler in Chongqing, China has survived a six-storey fall after he was caught by passers-by holding out a large blanket.

Boro Park Child Drowns At NJ Waterpark
A young child from Boro Park lost his life in a tragic incident on Tuesday
Hersh Meilich Grossman, 9-years-old, was on a trip with the Belzer Camp at the Sahara Sam’s Water Park in NJ, when he drowned. He was pulled from the water, and emergency personnel began resuscitation efforts. He died shortly after.
Tzvi Elimelech is a son of Rabbi Moshe and Mrs Sheindel Grossman, who come from a prominent Belzer family. He is a grandson of the Belzer Dayan of Boro Park, Rabbi Osher Eckstein.
Police are investigating the incident, and additional information will be published shortly.

We cried. We davened. We moved on. But Rabbi Bauman’s family still needs our help.
The tragic disappearance and passing of Rabbi Reuven Bauman zt”l gripped us all.
This young, vibrant and loving husband, father, rebbi and friend made the ultimate sacrifice. At the tender age of 35, Rabbi Bauman gave his life in order to save the lives of his talmidim.
From the moment we heard the news, we worried. We davened. Some traveled to Virginia to search. When our worst fears were confirmed R”l, we cried. We shook our heads. But our lives moved on.
Unfortunately, Rabbi Bauman’s wife and five young children are unable to do so. In the blink of an eye, they were left without the backbone of their family: The doting father who took responsibility for his family and showered his children with love. The selfless ben Torah who served as the ultimate role model for his children to aspire towards.
The void is gaping.
From what all of us gleaned from Rabbi Bauman’s final moments, we can somewhat understand how much he loved his own children…how he would do absolutely anything to help them live a happy and fulfilling life.
Hashem placed this tzaddik’s ultimate wish in our hands…
A special fund has been set up to help secure the financial future of Rabbi Bauman’s wife and children and provide them menuchas hanefesh as they work to rebuild their lives without Totty.

Uvnei Yerushalayim - Shira Choir ft. Yanky Green
It’s Chodesh Av, a time of mourning throughout the global Jewish family. The communal mood is tuned to a minor key, as everyone commemorates the historical weight of this particular month.
Somewhere in {Brooklyn}, Shira is finding a way to give voice to the moment. The song of choice is Uvnei Yerushalayim, originally composed by Moshe Morgenstern and Shlome Cohen for the latter’s Lemalah album.
In this rendition, the only instruments present are the powerful, layered Shira voices, and the pleaful soloing of Yanky Green—a cherubic voice and a "Yiddish Nachas" alumnus reminiscent of the tinokkos shel rabbin who will usher in the coming of Mashiach.
Once again, under master choir conductor Yoely Horowitz, Shira proves that when speaking the words of music, nothing but the voice is needed to strike the right chord. Or bassline.

Eagle Snags and Soars with Camera
"I was feeding the eagles some salmon and halibut remains on a remote Haida Gwaii beach. Shortly after, an eagle stole my GoPro.
