Hungry Bear Breaks into a Home Raiding the Fridge

This is the shocking moment a bear broke into a family home before raiding the fridge for two tubs of ice cream and taco meat.

The furry intruder was captured walking around and even taking its snacks to the couch on Nest surveillance footage in Truckee, Northern California.

The incident was reported by two teenagers in the house who would later have to hold a bedroom door shut to keep the bear out on August 19, ABC10 reported.

A deputy from Placer County Sheriff's Office helped the bear to escape by opening the kitchen door and was forced to fire a shotgun round into the air to scare it into the woods.

Recounting the events, Hayes Sherman and his friend Bobby Harden described it as 'the scariest moment of our life.'
