Drone footage shot off the Southern California coast shows the breathtaking moment a surfer shared a wave with a pod of dolphins.
The dolphins start swimming alongside the surfer, named by as Thousand Oaks firefighter, Alden Blair, near to Ventura.
At one point three dolphins swim alongside Blair, keeping pace.
Blair can't seem to believe his luck and punches the air in appreciation of his new found surfing buddies.
The footage was recorded by Craig Badger on Wednesday.
