Last Sunday, several large Jewish stores in the Tri-State area have temporarily shut their stores mid-day. KRM Kolel grocery, Mendelsohn's Pizza, Corner Cafe, the buzz & Eichler’s of Flatbush among others.
Customers were surprise to see lights close, fridges and ovens turned off, and the gates pulled down while shoppers were in the store. They all did so to raise awareness in support of Camp HASC’s 36 hour campaign. During the Summer, Camp HASC provides children with disabilities and their families a much needed break!
Now Camp HASC can use our help. They can also use a break! A financial break that is.
