It's the thing every eight-year-old has dreamed of: Driving a car out of an airplane. They did it in Furious 7, in a real-life stunt, not some CGI baloney.
The adrenaline-junkie skydivers at Negative4 Productions just found out, with a YouTube video that shows exactly what happens when you load four people into a car and send them out the back of an airplane at 30,000 feet.
Of course, there was a lot of prep work involved. The team found two cars to build up for the stunt, removing the drivetrains, roofs, all fluids, and anything else that could cause a problem during free-fall. They also clad the underbodies to try to make the plummeting vehicles more aerodynamic as they hurtled toward the Arizona desert.
