Close Call! Man Narrowly Avoids Being Speared by Branch

This is the heart-stopping moment a man is almost impaled by a falling tree branch. In the video, filmed in an unknown location, a man can be seen standing outside while holding a red umbrella.

After a few moments, he sees the tree limb falling from the corner of his eye and drops to the ground. The limb then lands next to him, missing the man's side by inches.

As we all prepare for Rosh Hashana, shopping, writing menus, inviting guests, finishing up errands and starting to cook, it is possible that another important matter which needs our attention may have been forgotten about.

The best thing is to take care of it right now, while your reading this.

The Torah tell us, “וכי ימוך אחיך ומטה ידו עמך – והחזקת בו - If your brother becomes destitute and his hand falters beside you, you shall support him.” Rashi explains: “והחזקת בו – אל תניחנו שירד ויפול, ויהא קשה להקימו אלא חזקהו משעת מטות היד.  Don’t let him struggle to the point he collapses and it is difficult to uplift him. Rather support him, so as to prevent his hand from faltering.”

We cannot let this beautiful family collapse. Kol Yisrael arevim zeh lazeh, we must be there to support, strengthen and uplift them.

Moshe Storch - Tiku - New Single

Moshe Storch releases his composition "Tiku" Erev Rosh Hashana 5778, produced by Bentzi Marcus of the 8th day Band.

The song came to life originally on a ukelele in the back of a crowded tender heading to Uman from Kiev for R"H 5776, it was on that trip that Moshe heard the news that his sister Hudis had been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.  After she battled 22 months and won the spiritual battle in this world, she went back to her Creator on June 8th 2017.

Now 3 months after her passing Moshe releases this song L'ilu Neshmasa!  We pray that Hashem gives us all a happy and healthy new year and answers all of our prayers!

Teacher Has Personalized Handshakes With Students

An elementary school teacher in southern Indiana has a very unique way of greeting his students each morning.

Sergio Spencer teaches 3rd grade at Spring Hill Elementary School in Jeffersonville. Students created their own, individual handshake, and Spencer learned each and every one. Spencer says it's a way to build positive relationships with his students, and show them he cares.

As for learning and remembering so many? He says it's just an odd talent of his. He's learned more than 200 total so far.
