In newly released footage, Chazan Yosef Mandelbaum OBM and  choir sing "Ki Lakech Tov" for the Bobover Rebbe Rav Shlomo Halberstam ZT"L, during a Hachnosas Sefer Torah in 1985.

Chazzan Yossele Mandelbaum was born 1903 in Krakow, Poland. He officiated from age fifteen and became a favorite protege of the Bobover Rebbe. He was Chazzan and the famous Cypruss Shul when WWII broke out. He lost his wife and several children in the Shoah, but managed to survive the concentration camps. He was liberated in 1946 and eventually came to the U.S. Here he served at The First Congregation Anshe Sfard, affectionately called the Sefardishe Shul, for many years. He died in 1993 at age 90. In addition to  Chazzonus he composed many Bobov melodies.
