Quick-thinking Officer Saves Restaurant

A quick-thinking police officer in Texas likely prevented a dangerous situation from becoming worse by saving a restaurant and its employees from a burning truck stuck in the drive-thru.

Glenn Heights police Officer Chris Womack responded to reports of a burning vehicle stuck in the drive-thru of a Jack In The Box restaurant around 9 p.m. Sunday.

When he arrived he found the truck fully engulfed in flames, threatening the restaurant and employees inside.

Womack was able to successfully move the burning truck away from the structure with his patrol car, and the dramatic incident was captured on the officer's dash-cam.

No injuries were reported.
