Lioness Fails Spectacularly at Taking Down Giraffe
A giraffe in Namibia was on the dinner menu of a pride of lions that were desperate for a kill, having hunted unsuccessfully for three days across 300 miles of barren desert. But the giraffe had other plans.
The showdown, the outcome of which appeared inevitable, was shown in the latest episode of Sir David Attenborough’s popular BBC series “Planet Earth II” shown Sunday night,
The lions discovered a lone giraffe grazing near a dry riverbed in the NamibRand Desert and began stalking it. The video clip starts as the giraffe runs for its life—right into the path of a waiting lioness ready to take it down.
“It’s now up to her,” the commentator says.
But the unexpected happens when the lioness makes its move and attacks. It failed to gain a grip around the giraffe’s neck and instead gets pummeled to the ground by the giraffe’s front legs and then received a swift and painful kick from a hind leg, leaving the lion in the dust.

Meir Kay at Chabad Shluchim Convention Picture
Comedian Meir Kalmanson, also known as Meir Kay, gives us a behind the scenes view of the Chabad Lubavitch Shluchuim grand Picture on Sunday morning.
Over 3,000 Rabbis from around the world came together and took a photo breaking the record of the amount of Rabbis taking a photo together. This took place over a weekend at Chabad - Lubavitch Headquarters in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY. It was truly an amazing site to see so many people together, singing and dancing while their photo was taken. The energy was unreal. I also snuck in the crowd wearing a Batman onesie, but that's besides the point."

Guy Frontflips In Front Of Oncoming Train
This is the death-defying moment a daredevil appears to somersault across a subway line in Russia in front of an oncoming train that misses him by inches. The identity of the daredevil stuntman who covered his face with a scarf and leaped across the tracks at a Moscow Metro station is not known.
However, after the clip appeared online it has attracted a healthy deal of scepticism, with some people claiming it has been edited.
Firstly, although the driver of the train coming into Polezhaevskaya station beeps at the man, he does not react after hitting him. Secondly, there is a strange glow around the jumper - leading some to suggest the footage has been edited. Also, he reflection doesn't appear in the train window.

Ba’avur Dovid - Shira Choir Ft. Chazzan Yoel Ausch
It’s not every day that a musical composition merits the opportunity to be performed by a vocalist the caliber of Chazzan Yoel Ausch. But a melody composed by legendary cantor Joseph Rumshinsky deserves the best vocal representation.
Engaging the room and the rafters around him to belt out a thundering rendition of the classic masterpiece, Ba’avur Dovid, Chazan Ausch joins Shira Choir in a meticulous, nuanced cantorial performance at the wedding of the son of Shira founder Shraga Gold.
Chazzan Ausch remains a most prolific Chassidic cantor, with few contemporaries in the Jewish world. In this delivery, his soaring vocals rise and fall with gravitas and awe, sweeping against the beautiful harmonies and softer inflections of Shira’s best voices, conducted by Shira’s talented musical director, Yoely Horowitz.

Digging Workmen Make Terrifying Discovery
This footage shows the moment stunned workers made a shocking find while investigating a deep "roaring" coming from beneath the ground in a forest. After a few minutes of frantic digging, one worker lets out a cry as a giant paw emerges from a hole.
A huge brown bear then uses its strength to dig itself out, tumbling backwards a few times before finally managing to drag its body up.
The footage is believed to have been captured close to a chicken farm near Bolu in Turkey.
The confused bear scampers off into the trees uninjured - except perhaps for a sore head.

Attempted Cop Ambush
A wanted fugitive burst out of the trunk of a car to ambush an Idaho police officer using a toy gun.
Lewiston Police Officer Tom Woods wrestled the suspect Jesse Harrell to the ground and managed to arrest him without firing any shots.
The incident happened during a routine traffic stop, where Officer Woods pulled over Harrell's mother for driving without a license plate.
Police Chief Chris Ankeny explains why he’s releasing this video.
In a split second, a traffic stop turns into a life or death situation. A man comes out of the trunk armed with what appears to be a gun. Lewiston Police Officer Tom Woods wrestles him to the ground. No shots are fired.
“There's only split second to deal with that threat,” said Chief Ankeny. “That officer could have used deadly force.”
