Man Punches a Kangaroo in the Face

Footage of a zookeeper Greig Tonkins, 34, went viral after he was filmed squaring off with a kangaroo after it put his dog in a vicious headlock.

Greig, a Zoo keeper at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, New South Wales, was out hunting with a group of friends when his dog was attacked by the kangaroo.

Greig can be seen racing up to the kangaroo before bouncing on his toes and throws a right-jab at the Aussie icon. The kangaroo, which is sitting up on its back legs, is left stunned by the apparent punch.

Greig, who is wearing a backwards cap, looks at the animal for a moment before watching it bound away. The dog, that the kangaroo had held in its clutches just moments before, can be seen running around in the background.

Kangaroos are known for their fighting abilities, with animals able to punch and kick their targets with a huge amount of force.
