The Lubavitcher Rebbe on the UN & Temple Mount

Exactly forty years before UNESCO’s shameful resolution denying the essential connection between the Jewish people and the site of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, the Lubavitcher Rebbe spoke on the UN, and as part of the spiritual countermeasures to combat its anti-Israel bias, he convened a UN of his own.

13 Tishrei, 5737 (October 7, 1976).

Imagine if UNESCO members had voted to take the Statue of Liberty from the Americans, to take the Eiffel Tower from the French, to take the Colosseum from the Romans, to take the Great Wall from the Chinese, or to take the Pyramids from the Egyptians. Video by Israeli diplomat, columnist and politician Danny Ayalon.
