Thousands at Levaya of Tosher Rebbe

Kiryas Tosh, Canada - Rabbi Meshulem Feish Lowy, the Tosher Rebbe, known for his magnetic personality and an ever present aura of holiness, died yesterday at the age of 95.

The Chassidic community of Tosh is located in Kiryas Tosh, Quebec, Canada, outside of Boisbriand, a suburb of Montreal. The Rebbe, one of the oldest admorim in the world, led his kehillah there and has built Batei Medrashim in Boro Park, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Kiryas Yoel, Monsey and London. He was renowned for his tzidkus, dikduk b’mitzvos and intense avodas Hashem. Thousands upon thousands of Yidden had traveled to Kiryas Tosh to seek his Brachos over the years. Countless stories of miracles are told by people who recieved Brachos from the Rebbe.

The Levaya was held last night, and he was buried at the Tosher cemetery
