FIFA Association (Federation International de (AKA soccer) Football) president Sepp Blatter's first news conference since he confirmed he would be stepping down from the top job in football could have started better. Joseph "Sepp" Blatter is a Swiss football administrator who has served as the eighth president of FIFA since June 1998.
Comedian Simon Brodkin, better known as his alter ego Lee Nelson, ran onto the stage to throw money at Blatter, shouting that it was for a fake North Korea bid for the 2026 World Cup.
FIFA officials had to gather up all the fake cash, causing a significant delay to the proceedings.
