Train Hits Bus Passengers Narrowly Escape

Surveillance video released Saturday showed the moment a train crashed into a bus in Georgia, ripping through it and throwing the driver and a passenger to the ground.

The freight train collided with the back end of the bus after traffic backup caused the driver to stop with the vehicle partially on the tracks, according to reports

Five passengers could be seen in surveillance footage escaping from the bus as they heard the train’s horn and saw it approaching.

When the train crashed into the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority bus, it ripped the side of the bus, knocking the driver to the ground.

Although the driver was the only person actually on the bus during the collision, surveillance footage showed the impact caused the bus door to slam into a passenger who was fleeing the bus, throwing the man to the ground.

Everyone survived the incident.
