A Young Disabled Girl and Her Wish

The Chicago Blackhawks hockey team, have had a rather famous marketing slogan based around the phrase “One Goal” which is in reference to the team's desire to win the Stanley Cup. This year, the team has tweaked that tagline a bit with each player telling fans what his personal goal is for the season. The team has also asked its fans, “What's your goal?”

For Blackhawks fan Cammy, who was born unable to walk or speak because of Rett syndrome, her goal was pretty simple. She wanted to score a goal with the help of her favorite player, Duncan Keith. The Blackhawks blueliner made it happen.

This, more than the wins, the highlights, any of that, is the real power of sports and its true value.
