Commuters Tilt Train to Save Trapped Elderly Woman

Commuters at a Moscow train station teamed up to help an elderly woman trapped between the platform and the carriage in a truly extraordinary way.

The incident occurred at a station on Kalinin-Solntsevo subway line on Saturday, when a 70-year-old woman stumbled while getting off the train and fell through the gap between a carriage and the platform.

Other passengers tried to pull her free but soon realized she was unable to move as her leg was stuck. Seeing the severity of the situation, the group opted for a different method: They all grouped together and rocked the train sideways.

The woman didn’t sustain any critical injuries but she did hurt her leg and was taken to a hospital.
