Hockey Player Clotheslines Himself With His Own Stick

Mitchell Skiba has given the sports world its first fail of 2015.

Skiba, a junior hockey player from northern Michigan, was ejected from a recent game and he inexplicably decided to flip his stick horizontally while skating through the narrow doorway. It was a bad decision.

The stick didn’t give, and Skiba, who plays for the Alpena Flyers, wound up clotheslining himself and his momentum knocked him right off of his feet and onto his rear-end.

Skiba quickly got up off the ground and hustled back to the locker room, leaving the stick on the ice.
