A terror group abducted three teens, including an American, who disappeared in the West Bank, Israel’s prime minister said Saturday, as soldiers searched the territory to find them.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again blamed the Palestinian Authority for the Thursday night disappearance of the teens. Palestinian officials say they are assisting Israeli forces, who pored over surveillance footage Saturday and arrested more than a dozen Palestinians.
Netanyahu made a televised address Saturday night after meeting with top security officials, saying Israeli forces were conducting “intensive operations” to locate the teens and bring them home.
The Israeli military identified the teens as Naftali Frenkel, 16, Gilad Shaar, 16, and Eyal Yifrach, 19. Israeli television station Channel 10 named Frenkel as the U.S. citizen that officials earlier mentioned. They were reportedly hitchhiking home when they were abducted.
Their kidnapping would be the biggest abduction of its kind by Palestinian militant groups in recent memory in the West Bank. Israeli-Palestinian tensions already were strained in part because of the recent formation of a Palestinian unity government that has the backing of the Islamic militant group Hamas.
Prayer for the Kidnapped Teens at the Western Wall
Security officials believe the three were kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists while trying to hitch a ride home from the Yeshiva High School where they studied in Gush Etzion. Since early Friday, security forces have led a massive search effort for the three in the Hebron region, but have yet to make any significant progress.

Hero Saves Driver From Fiery Gas Station Crash
An off-duty police officer saved his own life, then a stranger's, in a dramatic crash at a New York gas station. John Vescio, a senior investigator with the New York State Police, was filling up his unmarked state police car at a gas station on the Hutchinson River Parkway in southern New York state.
A 69-year-old man apparently blacked out while driving into the gas station, crashing into the gas pump where Vescio had stopped. Security video from the gas station shows Vescio flee from the scene, then moments later, returning to help the unconscious driver out of his car as the flames grew around the pumps.

Brave Man Stops Charging Elephant With His Hand
A Thai tourist faced down a charging elephant and stopped it in its tracks with just a wave of his hand.
Tor Bowling, 27, was visiting Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary, northern Thailand, when the elephant came charging straight towards him out of the dense jungle. But rather than understandably screaming and running for his life, Mr Bowling simply held up his hand up to the animal, which stopped, turned around, and walked away.

Man In The Water Feeding Alligators
A tourist on a swamp boat in Louisiana has captured on video the spine-chilling moment a guide jumped in the water to feed a pair of alligators, offering the animals treats directly from his lips.
The footage shot by Stacy Hicks outside Jean Lafitte Historical Park and Preserve last month drawing sharp criticism from state wildlife officials. While it is not illegal to feed alligators under Louisiana law, Jefferson Parish, where the tour company Airboat Adventures is based, prohibits the risky practice.

Rav Chaim Kanievsky Visits Kosel
HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita during the predawn hours Sunday morning 10 Sivan 5774 headed towards Yerushalayim. The Rav traveled to the Kosel and then Kever Rochel, a first visit to the Kever in many years.
The Gaon Davened Vosikin at the Kosel and then continued to Kever Rochel. Those close to Rav Chaim call the visit to Kever Rochel “historic” since the rav has not been there in many many years.
Regarding the rav’s davening at the Kosel it is explained it was תשלומין for not getting to the Kosel during Shavuos. It was also reported that upon arrival to the Kosel the Rav tore Kriya, which was interesting since many don't do so on days Tachanun in not said.
Regarding the visit to Kever Rochel, Rav Chaim was mispallel for rachmanus on behalf of Klall Yisrael at this time because as he is quoted as saying ”המשיח נמצא בדלת ממש ולא רק עומד בפתח”.

Motorcyclist Jumps Over Flying Plane
Adding a twist to the classic motorbike ramp jump, daredevil Cody Elkins decided to spice things up quite considerably by firing himself up and over a flying plane passing below him. The extreme stunt was captured on film by an equally brave cameraman, stooped down at the base of the ramp who filmed the plane screaming by just feet away, dangerously close to the ground.
Skilled FMX pro Cody Elkins was in charge of getting his bike from one end of the ramp to the other while aerobatic pilot Skip Stewart skillfully diced with death as he flew at the Cameron Air Show, held in Montana last weekend.

Lakewood Community Bus Drill
Lakewood Bus Drill - Wednesday June 11, 2014.
The Jewish community of Lakewood ran a busing drill today in Lakewood, NJ, asking all parents to drive their children to school, since as of now there is no government funding for bus transportation to and from school for the upcoming school year. The Lakewood community leaders want the local authorities to see what traffic would look like without the provision of busing.
On the video below begins with the recording asking the Jewish community of Lakewood not to use busing on Wednesday and Thursday, to demonstrate this point.

Shift Change Of Lighthouse Keepers
Before you complain about your trip into work this morning spare a thought for a group of lighthouse keepers who must have dreaded shift changes.
The video is from a French documentary by Thierry Marchadier and shows the way that lighthouse keepers used to change shifts at the lighthouse Kereon in the Iroise Sea.
Luckily for these lighthouse employees, the lighthouse became remote controlled and totally automated in January 2004 when keepers Jean-Philippe Rock and Brian O’Rorke left Kereon via helicopter for the last time.
It was the last lighthouse isolated at sea to be entirely automated. It was built in 1914 despite continual rough seas, particularly in the winter months when large ocean swells made it an even harder manoeuvre.
A cable is flown between the boat and the lighthouse enables the exchange of everything from men to food, materials, water and fuel. All with the aid of a simple balloon.

Dog Plays Racing Game With Deer
An energetic pit bull engaging in a game of chase with a wild deer. The nippy canine is seen at home in the garden running back-and-forth with his new racing buddy. An iron fence keeps the two unlikely competitors at a safe distance.
Their game is simple: run along side one another to the one end of the fence, try and hide from each other behind a post, and when found, run back to the other side. Repeat as many times as you can.
Eventually the animals come to a standstill and the deer opts out of the game. It’s a tough life being a dog.

Bus Driver Saves Barefoot Toddler
TriMet bus operator Bill Clark says he’s no hero; that he did what anyone should do when he spotted a toddler in the middle of the road heading for a busy intersection.
Operator Clark was driving a Line 20 bus westbound on northeast Division Street in Gresham about 8:15 a.m. on Friday morning, May 23, when he saw a small child walking in the middle of Linden Avenue and heading straight for Division. Video from the bus captured just how perilously close the boy was to the busy street.
Clark quickly stopped the bus and went out to check on the boy, who was barefoot in only a diaper and t-shirt. Clark did not see a parent or anyone else with the boy so, as the video shows, he took the boy’s hand, walked him to the bus and lifted him inside.
The boy quickly went to a front seat and climbed up. Clark contacted TriMet’s Operation Command Center. Since the bus was blocking the street, he was instructed to go to the Gresham Central Transit Center just a few blocks away where police met him.

MBD & Avraham Fried Almost Made It To Kever Yosef
Yeshiva World - Senior IDF officers, the head of the Shomron Regional Council, Avraham Fried and Mordechai Ben David intended to visit Kever Yosef in PA (Palestinian Authority) occupied Shechem on Monday night the eve of 5 Sivan, but they did not make it. The terror attack at Tapuach Junction resulted in a change in plans.
Fried arrived in Eretz Yisrael for a performance in Elon Moreh in a number of days. Both singers planned to sing at the tziyun but they never made it. Shomron Council head Gershon Mesika was to accompany them as were Housing Minister Uri Ariel and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz, with the latter bringing a number of senior officers with him.
Unfortunately the special forum at the holy site did not happen as planned due to the shooting attack earlier in which an armed Arab terrorist fired at border police. They returned fire and killed the lone terrorist. One soldier was wounded in a leg, B”H not more than a light injury.
The chief of staff was already at the tziyun when he heard of the shooting attack, permitting him to respond to the scene in a matter of minutes. Commanders feared that the area would ‘heat up’ due to the killing of the terrorist and therefore the order was given to instruct Fried and MBD to turn back, informing them and the others they would not be permitted to travel to the tziyun as planned.

93 Year Old Parachutes Again Into Normandy
Seventy years ago, Jim 'Pee Wee' Martin of the legendary 101st Airborne Division parachuted into France, behind enemy lines, hours before the D-Day armada launched across the English Channel.
Last week at the age of 93, the Ohio World War Two hero jumped out of a plane again to mark the anniversary of the June 6, 1944, landings as a mark of respect to his comrades of the Greatest Generation who could not be there.
At least this time there was no one shooting at him
Martin made his jump as ceremonies to commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day draw thousands of visitors to the cemeteries, beaches and stone-walled villages of Normandy last week.
World leaders and dignitaries including President Barack Obama and Queen Elizabeth II have gathered to honor the more than 150,000 American, British, Canadian and other Allied D-Day veterans who risked and gave their lives to defeat Adolf Hitler's Third Reich.

Minivan Drives Into Ocean Bystanders Rescue Kids
Video captures the intense moment when a 31-year-old South Carolina woman and her children were rescued from the ocean in Florida on March 6 2014. The children, ages 3, 9, and 10, were screaming that their mother was trying to kill them,
In this video taken by Simon Besner, a tourist from Canada, the woman can be seen outside the van as lifeguards try to pull her children from the vehicle. Witnesses described her hopping out of the car window as her screaming children remained seat-belted in the back. Waves nearly pushed her under the van.
Several men frantically try to get to the third and youngest child through the hatchback and the driver's side door as waves lap over the front of the minivan. The small child is eventually pulled to safety.
