Election Day 2014 Coverage in Brooklyn's District 48

The 48th district contains some of the largest orthodox Jewish communities, including large parts of Boro Park and Midwood in Brooklyn, NY. Reporter Shimon G was on the streets speaking with voters. Tuesday November 4, 2014.

As of last night, Assemblyman Dov Hikind iwas projected to win in a landslide. With 88% of the vote counted at this hour, Hikind leads Caller 77% by 23%. Hikind, who has run unopposed for years, was challenged by real estate developer Nachman Caller in a hotly contested battle to represent residents of Borough Park, Mapleton and parts of Midwood.
