US stands behind Israel after deadly strike on UN school - The US State Department is taking a cautious tone when it comes to a supposed strike by Israeli forces on a UN school in Gaza. Stopping short of blaming any party while also stating that more evidence is needed before responsibility for the attack can be assigned, the government did, however, call for efforts to minimize the number of civilian casualties in the ongoing conflict.
