I was wondering the same thing.it deff was during sefirah.i feel like it came to a point were no one cares anymore.anything goes and everything's accepted .its painful but I geus the old times were tukanay Chazal were respected and were taken serious are gone .i geus it was good while it lasted
There's a new angle now to our religion - it's called "Feel Good Judaism". If it feels good, then even if Halachah might suggest otherwise, just go for it!
