Tragedy struck in Crown Heights today when a city Department of Sanitation truck struck and killed a Yeshiva Bochur from Ukraine crossing Carroll Street.
The 26-year-old man, who
attended the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, N.J., was in
Crown Heights to attend an engagement party. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical technicians. The investigation is ongoing. The driver of the truck remained at the scene.
