2014 Super Bowl Commercials

A video collection of some of the best commercials which aired during the 2014 Superbowl where the average cost of a 30 second commercial is at $4 million.

Chobani Bear Game Day Commercial. Chobani is an American brand of strained yogurt also known as Greek yogurt.

"Time Machine Doritos" The winner of the 2014 Doritos commercial. - An Arizona wedding photographer has won a $1 million prize for a fan-favorite Doritos ad shown during the Super Bowl. Ryan Andersen's "Time Machine" spot received the most votes cast on doritos.com out of 5,400 entries. The 30-second spot shows a boy luring a man to get into a box that supposedly is a homemade time machine and conning the man out of his bag of chips. PepsiCo, which owns Doritos, says Andersen's ad cost $300 to produce and featured his 6-year-old son.

Doritos Cowboy Kid - A mom returns from the grocery store, and asks her kids for some help unloading the car. They are not enthusiastic about it. The Punchline: ... until they hear that she brought back Doritos, which launches them into a race to the minivan. The older sibling thinks he's got it made, until the cowboy kid rides up on their massive dog and lassoes the Doritos right out of his hands. This one comes from Amber Gill of California.

This doritos commercial came it 2nd place in fan voting (see above video and info). It was created by Amber Gill of Ladera Ranch, Calif, investing $5000 in its making. Gill won $50,000 for her ad.

Breakroom Ostrich - This Doritos commercial created by 30-year-old Eric Haviv of Atlanta, Gorgia, costed a total of $800. It made it as one of the five finalist but it did not make it to the top two, so it never aired. But he did win $25000 and was invited to attend the Super Bowl and watch the game from a private luxury suite.

Office Thief - Written and Directed by: Chris Capel of Valencia, Calif, created this doritos commercial. He and his friend Richard Price brainstormed until the idea took shape. Capel then wrote the script and, after one week of preproduction, spent six hours filming. His budget was $1,500.  It made it as one of the five finalist but it did not make it to the top two, so it never aired. But he did win $25000 and was invited to attend the Super Bowl and watch the game from a private luxury suite.

Seinfeld Reunion Super Bowl Halftime Commercial 2014 - It turns out Jerry Seinfeld was telling the truth, his reunion with Jason Alexander's George Costanza both was and wasn't a Super Bowl commercial. It also both was and wasn't an episode of his web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." The pair came together for a short video that aired as part of Fox's Super Bowl halftime show, just official concert at the stadium. They had one of their classic conversations about nothing at the real Tom's Restaurant (Monk's on the show) before an old friend (Newman) made a brief appearance at their table. The piece then directed people to ComediansInCarsGettingCoffee.com for a longer version of the video.
