what the heck has happened to ohel and hasc orchestras! i know the economy is tight and im not excpecting a 60 piece band but come on - at a AVERAGE israeli concert theres at least a 12 piece orchestra. this is just ridiculous. its so bad. ps this is the first year that i am NOT getting the dvd and i refuse to! the only way i will have any interest in hasc again is if another unforgettable moments comes out with footage from the early hascs, or if the next hasc has mbd again

apparently i was too generous - according to a persont here last night there was no more than a 10 or 11 piece band, it may have only been about 9 piece

Dear Anoynymous,
The whole HASC is for tzedokeh ,who cares how many pieces band there was.....The main thing is the singers were good and the crowd loved it.....

yeh great whats next a one man keyboard? hasc is supposed to be the pinacle of jewish music and look at it, an embaressing small band

People don't care about how many piece band will play, the main thing is the entertainment people enjoy themselves, money well spend(tzedokah),forget about the band, look at the performers, and were the money went to....

haha no hasc 27 dvd this year, had it confirmed by mostlymusic to me. it seems the producders finally realise how lame their 8 piece orchestras come across, and how hasc just does not look like a big time concert anymore
