Obama: I'm Scared Of My Wife
President Barack Obama says he hasn’t had a smoke in years — thanks in no small part to first lady Michelle Obama. Obama was chatting privately with a U.N. official Monday September 23 2013. and said he hoped the official had quit smoking.
The exchange was caught on camera After the official appeared to ask Obama about his own cigarette use, Obama said he hadn’t had a cigarette in probably six years. He added, with a broad grin, “That’s because I’m scared of my wife.”Obama has acknowledged over the years struggling with tobacco use. Mrs. Obama said in 2011 that her husband had finally kicked the habit.

Monkeys Get Summer Treat
Safari keepers at the famous Wiltshire wildlife attraction in the United Kingdom had enlisted the help of local ice-cream seller to provide some cooling treats for their troop of rhesus monkeys. Despite the obvious attractions of flakes and ice cream cones however, the monkeys were restricted to a choice of special fruit-based ice lollies – which seemed to prove equally popular.
Security Surveillance Cameras Coming To Boro Park
In a city that’s ramped up surveillance since the 9/11 attacks, the next big installation of security cameras is not in the bustle of midtown Manhattan or near a well-known tourist attraction but in a leafy section of Brooklyn known for its low crime and large Orthodox Jewish population.
A hundred security cameras will be installed on public lampposts throughout the Midwood and Borough Park neighborhoods in the coming months — the result of a $1 million state grant secured in the wake of a horrifying tragedy: the 2011 abduction, dismemberment and murder of an 8-year-old Hasidic boy named Leiby Kletzky. The taxpayer-funded security system will augment an already insular Orthodox community that has its own volunteer police force, ambulances and schools.
The cameras will be monitored and controlled by a private security company. As a result, the police will have to ask for permission if they want to access the footage.
