Shiluchim children pose for picture at 770
The annual Gala Banquet of the International Chabad Kinus Hashluchim took place Sunday night in Brooklyn, NY. The event brings 4,000 Chabad Shluchim and their supporters together for the culmination of the three day convention.
The Banquet took place in a 110,000 square-foot warehouse in the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal, located along the Bay Ridge Channel in Sunset Park, which has been transformed into a magnificent banquet hall for the occasion by event producers David Scharf and Ronen Peled.
The honorable, former U.S. Senator, Mr. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut took the podium as this year's guest speaker. Rabbi Dov Greenberg, co-director and Shliach of the Rohr Chabad House – Jewish Student Center at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA since 2002, delivered the keynote address.
