Charedim Protest Against 'Building On Jewish Graves'

Police detained 13 protesters for disturbing the peace and an additional demonstrator for allegedly attacking an officer.Following the arrests, protesters blocked the street and set a trash bin on fire.Protests also broke out in Jerusalem’s ultra-Orthodox Mea She’arim neighborhood following the arrests in Beit Shemesh. At Kikar HaShabbat dozens of haredim blocked roads and set trash cans on fire, causing bus traffic to be rerouted to side streets.
