MK Porush Handcuffs Himself To Podium Over Draft

United Torah Judaism parliament member Meir Porush handcuffed himself to the microphone as he speaks at the Knesset plenum that approved Yesh Atid's draft bill on first reading early Tuesday morning, in the Knesset, Israel's Parliament, in Jerusalem, early July 23, 2013. The passing of the bill prompted dramatic acts of protest by Ultra-orthodox legislators, who declared a day of mourning and tore the lapels of their shirts to signify their mourning.
