Kashrus demo by Rabbi Gancz - Many kitchen utensils were on hand alongside blow-torches and pots of bubbling water, after a quick introduction and a few safety announcements from Learning Director Zushi Rivkin, Rabbi Gancz began the Shiur. Starting with a discussion about how Kashering works, it was immediately evident how much easier it was for Talmidim to grasp the concepts now that everything was laid out in front of them and being shown in the flesh.
