The children of two prominent Hassidic rabbis got married on Tuesday, drawing thousands to the ceremony and reception in Monsey. The bride, Sima Halberstam, is the daughter of Rabbi Chaim Halberstam of the Satmar Synagogue in Rockland. The groom, Naftali Meisels, is the son of a renowned rabbi in Brooklyn.
Crews worked all day transforming the Rockland Community College Field House into an elegant reception hall. Dignitaries from across the state were in attendance.
