The Satmar Rebbe of Williamsburg, Rabbi Zalman Leib Teitelbaum, arrived in Israel on Sunday with a large delegation on the eve of the Israeli elections.
Both Rabbi Teitelbaum and several thousand of his chassidim have flown out last night from JFK Airport from the United States.
The Rebbe’s purpose in coming to Israel is to take part in the wedding of his grandchild, the daughter of Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum, who heads the Jerusalem branch of Satmar.

Klal yisroel has to understand that the 2nd. Temple was destroyed because of sinas chinum which means basless hatred which im sorry to say but when i see the two satmar rabbis and there chasidim i see basles hatred to the extreme which i feel is one of the big reasons why this golus is not over its extremely sad and i feel when there will be shalom by then it will be a begining to the end of this terrible golus were in also for him to go to isreal and cause such a ruckus there about there elections is a terrible chilul hashem and if any frum yid cant see that there very off i think that the goverment in isreal ahould not alow him in but thats my personall opinion

I hope and pray that one day both rebbes will come together and stop with the hate and be a good example of wat it means to have unity and then i think alot of good will start from there its bad enough that us yidden are hated from the outsiders!!
to all the comments above, your opinion is irrelevant to the issue at hand, what the issue is at the moment is the upcoming Israeli election which i strongly disagree with all do respect, my rebbe and moreh derech said it's a mitzvah to vote, but i got to congratulate the satmar rebbe for coming out strong even the satmar shita is very unpopular these days he doesn't hide behind the curtain he tells it like it is like his great uncle reb yolish use to crusade about it
