Skateboarder Crashes Into Deer At 40 MPH
If you’ve ever hit a deer with your car, you might know a fraction of how this guy was feeling. During this weekend’s Buffalo Bill Downhill race, where skateboarders race down a mountain in Golden, Colo., one unlucky skateboarder had an unfortunate occurrence with a deer. A skateboarder traveling nearly 40 mph slams right into a deer. Reports indicate neither the rider nor deer were seriously injured.
Jews Monsey Parents Clash Over School Trespassing
A battle is brewing between parents of Grandview Elementary School students in Monsey NY and members of the Orthodox Jewish community. Parents say Orthodox community members are routinely trespassing across the property during school hours to get to synagogue and friends' homes.
Members of the Orthodox Jewish community say they were not aware school property was off-limits during the school day but feel there is a need to find common ground on this issue. The superintendent of the East Ramapo School District says no one is allowed on school grounds other than students and staff during regular school hours.

Thousands Attend Birkat Kohanim at Western Wall
Thousands of people began arriving at the Western Wall plaza for the
event from the wee hours of the morning in order to ensure they would
have a place. No vehicles were allowed into the Old City, and crowds
made their way on foot to the ancient site – the only remnant left of
the retaining wall of the Holy Temple of Jerusalem, and together with
the Temple Mount the holiest site on the planet for Jews. The ceremony was led by Israeli Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yona Metzger and Chief Sephardic Rabbi Shlomo Amar.
