Rabbi Levi Shemtov presided over the annual lighting of the National Menorah in Washington DC.
A Menorah car parade drove through the Philadelphia streets on Motzei Shabbos, with music by Chony Milecki and Eli Marcus. The parade ended with a public Menorah lighting with Rabbi Avraham Shemtov.

Jewish community dances-up a storm on the first night of Hanukkah under the new Santa Monica ban against unaccompanied religious displays. The menorah was brought for the 3rd Street Promenade event which began at 8pm, and then removed by the organizer by 11pm. Any of the other menorahs which Chabad places must now be only on private property.
