Chabad Boys Choir of Ashdod Sing Podo Vesholom.
The Nigun Podo Vesholom of Tehilim 55 is sung on Yud Tes Kislev (aka Yat Kislev) the day known as the Chag Hageulah/Day of Redemption of the Baal Hatanya, the founder and first Lubavitcher Rebbe. It is the most celebrated day in the Chabad calendar and is also known as the Rosh Hashanah of Chasidus.
The Baal Hatanya sat in prison for 53 days after there was a Kitrug Milmailah against the revelation of Chasidus. On the 19th day of Kislev as he was reciting the words Podo Vesholom Nafshi, the Baal Hatanya was released. In the words of the Baal Hatanya" As i was saying the words Podo Vesholom Nafshi, i was redeemed in Sholom from Hashem Sholom.
The 19th of Kislev is also the Yahrzeit of the Maggid of Mezeritch, Talmid of the Baal Shem Tov and Rebbe of the Baal Hatanya.
