NBC's Richard Engel Recounts Syrian Kidnapping

NBC News' Richard Engel and his two colleagues, producer Ghazi Balkiz and cameraman John Kooistra, are fortunately safe after being kidnapped and held for five days in Syria. On Tuesday morning, speaking from Turkey, the three recounted their experience.

More than a dozen pro-regime gunmen kidnapped and held NBC's chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel and several colleagues for five days inside Syria. They were threatened and blindfolded before the team finally escaped unharmed.
