Miracle in New Square as Van Jumps Curb Injures 5 Kids

The driver of a medical supply van lost control this afternoon and hit five young girls when his vehicle went over a curb and onto the lawn of a multi-family house a little before 4 p.m. on Monday. Ramapo Town Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence said three of the girls—approximately aged seven to nine years old—were critically injured. Some of the girls suffered head injuries, one had a broken femur and several were in and out of consciousness.

Update: The most critically hurt, a 9 year old girl, was found at the scene unresponsive and not breathing. Buruch Hashem with help of Hatzalah they girl was revived. All girls, including the girl who was unresponsive suffering from a head injury are now out of critical condition and listed as stable. Another miracle to note, the driver ended up with his van crushing over an electric box that carries a 7000 volt charge. The van could have R"L been electrified if it wasn't for his tire that ended up on the box.
