'Live it, Love it, Learn it', the motto of Kesser Torah College, a religious day school in Sydney, Australia, was the inspiration for the song. 'Living The Good Life' gives insight into the school day of the students in KTC, through the talented musical abilities of the band members, portraying how to live, love and learn up to the schools core values - that of a respectful Jewish child.
Lyrics:
Woke up in class yesterday,
Found myself in B3,
Next to the T.V,
Don't really know how I got here,
See some people in the hall,
Living the dream at KTC,
Learning all day coz that's the key,
Class turns to break,
Break turns to whatever we want,
Were Jewish enough to say,
Oh Judaism brings light,
KTC is the lamplight,
Living it is a good life, a good life,
Just say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight,
No problems, you got the might,
Living it is a good life, a good, good life,
To my friends in Primary I say hello,
To my friends in Infants they don't know,
Where I've been for the past few lessons or so,
Davenin, Gemora, to Chumash yo,
Sometimes the energy don't run out,
Sometimes it's hard you just gotta shout,
With the staff at KTC,
Would you please tell me-e-e-e what theirs to complain about,
When your prayin at the shul,
Let it take you over,
Wrap up your Teffilin,
& Tallis on your head,
Oh Judaism brings light,
KTC is the lamplight,
Living it is a good life, a good life,
Just say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight,
No problems, you got the might,
Living it is a good life, a good good life,
Hopefully I feel like there might be something that I've missed,
Hopefully I feel like the school day goes by oh so quick,
Hopefully were building the school up ain't gonna stop right now,
Coz hopefully the hopes that we've had so much to feel good about,
Oh Judaism brings light,
KTC is the lamplight,
Living it is a good life, a good life,
Just say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight,
No problems, you got the might,
Living it is a good life, a good good life,
To my friends in Primary I say hello,
To my friends in Infants they don't know,
Where I've been for the past few lessons or so,
Davenin, Gemora, to Chumash yo,
Sometimes the energy don't run out,v
Sometimes it's hard you just gotta shout,
With the staff at KTC,
Would you please tell me-e-e-e what theirs to complain about
