Barge Struck Small Tour Boat

A previously-unseen video captures the horrific final seconds before a 240-foot barge slammed into a broken-down Philadelphia tour boat, killing two of its passengers. The towering barge heads directly toward the stranded boatload of tourists on the Delaware River before running over the duck boat — which crumples beneath its hull. More than three dozen people were dumped into the river by the July 2010 wreck.

The video was released by attorneys for the two victim’s families in advance of this weeks hearing in their civil wrongful death lawsuit.
