Chris Matthews Turns on Obama

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, a longtime, and enthusiastic, supporter of President Barack Obama, is becoming increasingly frustrated with the president — and now says that his leadership is aimless. Matthews, host of “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” famously commented, after an Obama speech during the 2008 presidential campaign: "My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often."

The thrill seems to be gone, as Matthews voiced his exasperation with the president during an interview on MSNBC’s “Weekends with Alex Witt” Saturday.
