BBC: Inside Europe's Biggest Hasidic Community

North London's Hasidic Jewish community is an intensely private world, where marriage is an integral rite of passage, strict rules must be adhered to and faith is taken seriously. Film-maker Paddy Wivell spent three months finding out what goes on behind closed doors and how an outsider is received.

I really enjoyed this. It reminds of something a non Jewish friend once said to a class of Jewish kids when they asked her about her religion and if she thought Jews were going to hell. They were obsessed about this. She said, "I don't think about other people and what they do, I worry about myself and how I can be a better person."

This was a great portrayal of how even one sect of Judaism isn't monolithic. As a non Orthodox Jew, I very much enjoyed it and think it would be great for many Jewish people to see and think about.
