Saadyah Tzvi - Yebaneh

In the morning time I try to rise and shine/
Cleanse my hands raise 'em high to praise The Divine/
My right hand covers my eyes so I can hear/
All my people serve The Master with love and fear/
I was deep in the hole now you dug me back up/
I was running on empty now you're filling my cup/
The kindness that we shows gotta come from the heart/
Stay grounded and connected while I'm playing my part/
Hanging 'round my neck I hold The Shield of David/
Sing the words of תהילים (Tehillim[Psalms]) in my heart I engrave it/
Saving every bit of strength so I can do good/
Turn darkness into light right just like I should/
Drip a drop of water into my wine/
Regret my wrongdoings making 'em up in time/
With every single מצוה (Mitzvah[Commandment]) we're building a brick/
Speedily in our days it's coming quick/
Love your fellow ידדין (Yiddin[Jews]) that's the way/
Put the בית המקדש (Beis HaMikdash[Holy Temple]) together build it today/

יבנה המקדש עיר ציון תמלא,
ושם נשיר שיר חדש וברננה נעלה
(Yibaneh HaMikdash, Ir Tzion TeMale,
Ve'Sham NaShir Shir Chadash, UViR'Nanah Na'Aleh
[May the Temple be rebuilt, the City of Zion replenished,
there shall we sing a new song, with joyous singing ascend;])

We gotta make a change y'all 'cause these times are hard/
Fully immersed in waste with no way to find G-d/
Our heads are so heavy from the poison and the pills/
We get a glimpse of Divine Light then we head for the hills/
Still our body and soul's created for a purpose/
Although we get into dirt and treat 'em like worthless/
It's urgent we need to realign with the truth/
That's why I'm not spitting 'bout money in the booth/
Cash ain't the root of all evil it comes from inside/
And it's a constant battle 'til the day that you die/
That's why His glory encompasses every single section/
Pray every day for His mercy and protection/
There's no pension for the love between The Father and His children/
Unity is crucial in these times of extortion/
Our portion's guaranteed if we ad-heed to His command/
Then The Chosen People gather in The Promise Land/
